Joy, Fully

Joy Hope (she/her) is a musician who came to her instrument late and fell in love hard. She plays the clarinet not because it’s impressive, but because it’s honest. Music is where she tells the truth without needing to explain herself.

She spent decades doing what was required, expected, or necessary to survive, and then did the much harder thing: she chose herself. That choice reshaped everything. She is thoughtful, principled, and allergic to bullshit, especially the kind that pretends suffering is noble or mandatory.

Joy believes in process over polish. She values learning in public, growth over perfection, and sincerity over spectacle. She is deeply committed to community, whether that means showing up for queer joy, local music, or one person who needs to feel less alone.

She is not chasing fame. She is chasing alignment.  

She is not trying to be brave. She simply refuses to disappear.

Joy is proof that it is never too late to live a life that sounds like your own.
